The Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law at Università degli Studi, Milan will host on Friday, 11 May 2018, a conference on the topic “Punitive Damages and European Private International Law: State of the Art and Future Developments,”, with the support of SIDI Interest Group on international private law and the Italian Review of international private law.
The idea of the conference derives from the recent decision of the Italian Supreme Court (Cass. S.U., 5 July 2017, n. 16601) and aims at addressing the most relevant issues of private international law triggered by the recognition of (decisions awarding) punitive damages in several European jurisdictions.
Attendance free of charge, but registration required by 4 May 2018.
Venue: Sala Napoleonica, Università degli Studi di Milano – Via Sant’Antonio 12
