1 - Best Oral Presentation - Young Investigator


A prize will be awarded to the best oral presentation given by a young investigator. The winner will have the chance to publish one paper free of charge in the Open Access Crystallography Journal, “Crystals” (equal to 1000 CHF). The prize will be awarded during the Closing Session on Tuesday, 21 November 2017.

Criteria for Eligibility:

  • This competition is open to any author under 32 of age at the time of the conference.
  • Applicants must be registered for ICG2017.
  • Applicant must be the first author on the Abstract Submission Form.
  • The abstract submissions must follow the Abstract Submittal Guidelines.
  • The presentation must represent original work and cannot be previously published or presented in another venue.
  • The application for the award must be presented jointly to the abstract.
  • Applicants should be present at the Closing Session to claim their own prize.

2 - Best Posters

The prize consists of a certificate and of a MiTeGen credit of 150 $ (US dollars). Prizes will be awarded to the two best posters, one of which reserved to an undergraduate or a PhD student. Award-winning poster authors are asked to give a short presentation of their work during the Closing Session on Tuesday, 21 November 2017.

3 - Best Poster – “Crystallization of Biomolecules” microsymposium

The prize consists of a certificate and of a Molecular Dimension credit of 120 £ (GBP). Prize will be awarded to the best poster presented by a young researcher within the microsymposium “Crystallization of Biomolecules”. Award-winning poster author is asked to give a short presentation of his work during the Closing Session on Tuesday, 21 November 2017.

The prize consists of a certificate and of 100 € offered by International Society of Electrochemistry. Prize will be awarded to the best poster presented by a young researcher within the microsymposium “Crystalline Materials for Energy”. Award-winning poster author is asked to give a short presentation of his work during the Closing Session on Tuesday, 21 November 2017.
