HOW TO REACH MILANO BICOCCA

 
BY TRAIN

The closest Railway Station is Milano Greco Pirelli, which can be reached along the lines:

S9   Saronno-Albairate
S8   Lecco-Milano-Pta Garibaldi
S11 Chiasso-Milano Pta Garibaldi
 
and Regional Trains:
Milano-Treviglio-Brescia

Milano Greco Pirelli can be reached easily from other Milan  Railway stations:
Milano Porta Garibaldi in about 7 min

BY LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

Bus line 87 has a few stops within the University area and
permits reaching it from Milano Centrale in about 12 min.
 
Tramway line 7 has two stops within the University area: Università Bicocca Scienza 
(the closest to the scientific
area where ICG2017 will be held) and Arcimboldi Ateneo Nuovo.
 
Underground
LINEA 5 (Violet) : has two stops within the University
area: Bicocca, in Viale Fulvio Testi (the closest to the scientific area where ICG2017 will be held) and Ponale.
LINEA 1 (Red): stop in Precotto, then tramway 7 (direction Messina) or 25 min on foot.
LINEA 3 (Yellow) : stop in Zara, then tramway 31 (direction Precotto) or
LINEA 5 or 40 min on foot.

BY PLANE
From Milano Malpensa airport there are frequent shuttle trains called Malpensa Express to Milano Porta Garibaldi,
then take a train (see LOCAL TRANSPORTATION).
 
From Milano Linate airport bus line 73 (direction S. Babila M1), then take the underground (see LOCAL TRANSPORTATION).
 
BY CAR
From the highway Torino-Venezia, exit at "Milano - viale Zara" - direction Milano Centro.
After the sign Comune di
Milano, close to the StarTourist Hotel, turn towards viale Sarca, on your left hand side.
After about 1 km, you can
reach the University site.
