Our work focuses on the design and development of advanced materials, including both organic and inorganic compounds, as well as hybrids, such as oxides, alloys, polymers and composites. Our primary commitment is to accurately characterize these materials and apply them to address the challenges of water and air decontamination. This mission involves a variety of approaches, including degradation with photocatalysis, ultrasound, adsorption, and their combinations. In parallel, we are dedicating significant resources to the development of innovative technologies in the agricultural sector (agritech) for the efficient acquisition and use of water, as well as for the recovery and controlled release of nutrients. In the sustainable energy context, we focus our efforts on the production of hydrogen from waste, contributing substantially to the field of green energy. Furthermore, we also valorize wastes coming from industrial chimneys. This demonstrates our commitment to reduce the environmental impact and promote innovative solutions for the future. As last step, we place significant emphasis on the life cycle assessment (LCA) analyses in all our activities, ensuring that our processes and products are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
