European notaries contribute to the CEPEJ’s evaluation exercise

On 28 November 2017, the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE) has prepared the first contribution of legal professionals to the specific study of the CEPEJ on the legal professions. This in-depth study, which includes the 2014 data of the CEPEJ and enriches them with examples on the practices and experience of notaries in the Member States, is published on the CEPEJ website and in the CEPEJ-STAT system. The CNUE is a body set up in 1993 and composed of 22 members. The CNUE, whose mission is to promote the notariat and represent it in European institutions, is an observer at the Working group on evaluation of judicial systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL).
