{"id":2617,"date":"2014-04-17T01:09:30","date_gmt":"2014-04-16T23:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/users2.unimi.it\/cde\/CDE\/?page_id=2617"},"modified":"2021-01-28T11:29:22","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T09:29:22","slug":"chi-siamo","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/cde\/en\/chi-siamo\/","title":{"rendered":"Who we are"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Commission of the European Communities established in 1983 one of its European Documentation Centres (EDC) at the Chair of  European Community Law  at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Milan.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre is part of the information network coordinated by the Libraries and Documentation Centres Unit under the Directorate-General for Communication of the European Commission, and aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>promoting and consolidating teaching and research in the field of European integration;<\/li>\n<li>Make information about the European Union and its policies accessible to the public, including non-university students;<\/li>\n<li>participate in the debate on the Union, possibly by establishing contacts with other European information centres and networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It regularly receives all the publications sent by the European Union.\nFrom 1999 to 2016 Prof. Michele Tamburini was the Scientific Director of the Center, from 2016 to 2019 Prof. Ruggiero Cafari Panico and, since 2019, the Center has passed under the scientific direction of Prof. Alessandra Lang.<\/p>\n<p>Since autumn 2003 the Centre has reopened to the public, hosted at the Library of Political Sciences, in via Conservatorio 7 (3rd floor).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Commissione delle Comunit\u00e0 Europee ha istituito nel 1983 uno dei suoi Centri di Documentazione Europea (CDE) presso la cattedra di Diritto delle Comunit\u00e0 Europee della Facolt\u00e0 di Scienze politiche dell\u2019 Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Milano. Il Centro rientra nella rete informativa coordinata dalla Unit\u00e0 biblioteche e centri di documentazione della Direzione Generale Comunicazione della Commissione Europea, e ha lo scopo di: promuovere e consolidare l\u2019insegnamento e la ricerca nel campo dell\u2019integrazione europea; rendere accessibile al pubblico, anche non universitario, l\u2019informazione sull\u2019Unione Europea e le sue politiche; partecipare al dibattito sull\u2019Unione, eventualmente stabilendo contatti con gli altri centri e reti d\u2019informazione europei. Ad esso affluiscono regolarmente tutte le pubblicazioni inviate dalla Unione Europea. Dal 1999 al 2016 ne \u00e8 stato responsabile scientifico il Prof. Michele Tamburini, dal 2016 al 2019 il Prof. Ruggiero Cafari Panico e, dal 2019, il Centro \u00e8 passato sotto la direzione scientifica della Prof.ssa Alessandra Lang.
