SYNTHESIS AND ORGANIZATION OF MOLECULES AND MATERIALS

Two Laboratories of synthesis, equipped for working in an inert atmosphere and in the absence of moisture for the preparation and purification of organic molecules and coordination compounds.  

Set-ups for the organization of the molecules/complexes in substrates, including film deposition apparatus such as a spin-coater.

CARACTERIZATION: MOLECULES AND MATERIALS

Set-up EFISH for second-order NLO measurements in solution equipped with a laser Q-switched, mode-locked Nd³⁺:YAG with a fundamental radiation at 1064 nm

Set-up for the measurements of the second harmonic generation (SHG) on thin films and a Kurtz-Perry set up operating at 1064 and 1907 nm for second-order NLO measurements on powders.

UV-vis–NIR and IR spectrophotometers; 300 and 400 MHz multinuclear NMR and ESI-mass spectrometers; spectrofluorimeters; CHNS/O elemental analyzer instruments are available in department
