{"id":58,"date":"2013-01-26T13:29:09","date_gmt":"2013-01-26T12:29:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/users2.unimi.it\/erasmusmat\/?page_id=58"},"modified":"2016-03-17T12:04:00","modified_gmt":"2016-03-17T11:04:00","slug":"schedule","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/erasmusmat\/benvenuti\/algant\/schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The main rules to get a master degree at the <i>Universit\u00e0 degli\u00a0Studi di Milano\u00a0<\/i>for Algant&#8217;s students are the following.<\/p>\n<p>Every Algant student must earn<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">60 credits\u00a0in the first year to get to the second year<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">90 credits\u00a0in order to get to the graduation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">120\u00a0credits\u00a0to get a master degree<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In particular, every student must take at least:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">60 credits\u00a0by courses in Algebra, Geometry &amp; Number Theory<\/span>, that is in MAT\/02-03, of which\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">18 credits by fundamental courses<\/span> such as Commutative Algebra, Complex or Algebraic Geometry or Representation Theory and\/or Number Theory from Tab 1A in MAT\/01-02-03-04-05<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">12 credits by advanced courses<\/span> from Tab 2A in MAT\/01-02-03-04-05<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">6 credits by courses\u00a0in Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Physics<\/span>\u00a0such as Numerical Algebra or Numerical\u00a0Analysis or Code Theory or Dynamical Systems, that is from courses in Tabs 1A or 2A in MAT\/06-07-08-09<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">3 credits holding a brief seminar<\/span>, that is an extra seminar of yours\u00a0and\/or the active participation to the Algant Summer School\u00a0and\/or a TER (= Travaux d&#8217;\u00e9tude et de recherche).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remaining credits (up to 90) are free. The master thesis counts for\u00a030 credits.\u00a0Language courses can be recognized as additional (to the 120) credits. The main authority for teaching matters is the <a title=\"Collegio Diattico\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ccdmat.unimi.it\/en\/informazioni\/componentiCCD.html\">Board<\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccdmat.unimi.it\/it\/corsiDiStudio\/2016\/F4Yof1\/index.html\"><em>Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Matematica<\/em><\/a>.
