{"id":31,"date":"2024-09-03T12:11:01","date_gmt":"2024-09-03T12:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/?page_id=31"},"modified":"2025-01-20T14:35:38","modified_gmt":"2025-01-20T14:35:38","slug":"structure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/about-etsf\/structure\/","title":{"rendered":"Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organization of the ETSF<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ETSF is a research network consisting of prominent condensed-matter-theory research teams in Europe and in the US, led each by its <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/research-teams\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"55\">Research Team Leader<\/a>. The ETSF has a horizontal structure. Activities are initiated and carried out by motivated ETSF members. Activities are grouped into <em>teams<\/em>that are independent from each other and each coordinated by a volunteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"476\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/etsf_structure_cut.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/etsf_structure_cut.png 660w, https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/etsf_structure_cut-300x216.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The global coordination is taken care of by the <a href=\"\/about-etsf\/steering-committee\"><strong>Steering Committee<\/strong><\/a> (SC). It is the ETSF representative, decision-making and arbitration body. The SC is also responsible for relationships with other scientific networks such as CECAM and PsiK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scientific research grouped around different topics is organized in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/our-research-activities\/our-research-activities-collaboration-teams\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"82\">Collaboration Teams<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organization of the networks <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unimi.it\/etsf\/events\/conferences\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"56\"><strong>Conferences, Workshops and Training Events<\/strong><\/a> is carried out by the <strong>Workshop Team. <\/strong>Issues relating to the interest of the Young Researchers in the network are discussed and treated by the <strong>Young-Researcher Team,<\/strong> which is in particular involved in the organization of the <strong>ETSF Young-Researchers&#8217; Meetings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ETSF is open to collaboration with reasearchers outside the network at the different levels of activity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Organization of the ETSF The ETSF is a research network consisting of prominent condensed-matter-theory research teams in Europe and in the US, led each by its Research Team Leader.
