The role of such dietary pattern on nutritional status and the modulation of important metabolic and functional activities will be investigated in the target groups of the population. In this regard, within the plant-based dietary intervention study, the bioavailability of micronutrients and bioactive compounds will be assessed in order to identify critical nutrients in the context of sustainable diets and to promote the development of new and\/or improved food products.
