Notice on the processing of personal data<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Assumption<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to art. 13 of\nRegulation (EU) 2016\/679 (General Regulation on Data Protection or GRDP) of the\nEuropean Parliament and of the Council concerning the protection of individuals\nwith regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the free movement of\nsuch data and repealing Directive 95\/46 \/ EC, as well as of Legislative Decree\n196\/2003 and subsequent amendments mm. ii., the University of Milan (herein\nalso referred to as “University”) in the person of the Rector pro\ntempore, informs users about the use of personal data concerning them by the\nwebsite https:\/\/www.sites.unimi.it\/gervasinigroup (herein also\n“site”). This\ninformation is given on the management of the site, in relation to the\nprocessing of personal data of users who consult it, who choose to register and\n\/ or who use online services offered. The observance by the University of Milan\nof the current legislation on transparency and mandatory publication of data\nand documents remains valid. This\ninformation is limited to the https:\/\/www.sites.unimi.it\/gervasinigroup site\nonly and does not have any value for external sites, even if accessible from\nlinks on https:\/\/www.sites.unimi.it\/gervasinigroup.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

1. Data\nController and Data Protection Officer (DPO)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data controller is the University\nof Milan, in the person of the Rector pro tempore, Via Festa del Perdono n. 7,\n20122 Milan, e-mail infoprivacy@unimi.it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to articles 37 and following\nof the 2016\/679 EU Regulation, the University has appointed the Data Protection\nOfficer (DPO) that can be contacted at the e-mail address dpo@unimi.it. 2. Purpose and legal basis of the processing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The personal data that could\nbe processed are:-     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IP address;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

type of browser and device\nparameters used to connect to the site;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

name of the Internet service\nprovider (ISP);<\/p>\n\n\n\n

date and time of visit;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

web page of origin of the\nvisitor (referral) and exit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

any number of clicks;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

voluntarily provided by the\nuser in using online services offered on the site;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the data provided from time to\ntime by users in relation to the specific service requested;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aforementioned information is\nprocessed in an automated form and collected in aggregate form in order to\nverify the correct functioning of the site and for security reasons. This\ninformation will be processed according to the legitimate interest of the\nowner. For security purposes (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection), the\nautomatically recorded data may possibly include personal data such as the IP\naddress, which could be used, in accordance with the law in force, in order to\nblock attempts to damage the site or to damage other users, or in any case\nharmful activities or constituting a crime. In any case, these data will never\nbe used for the purpose of profiling the users of the site but only for the\npurposes of protection of the site and its users. The legal bases of the\nprocessing are therefore compliance with legal and contractual obligations, the\nfulfillment of specific requests of the interested part, before the conclusion\nof the contract and the processing of data related to the management of any\ncomplaints or disputes and for the prevention and repression of frauds and any\nillegal activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Types of data processed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal data are collected for the following purposes and using the\nfollowing services.The IT systems and the application procedures used to\noperate the site acquire, during their normal operation, some data whose\ntransmission is implicit in the use of communication protocols on the Internet.\nThis information is used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use\nof the site and to check its correct functioning and are not associated with\nidentified users; however, by their nature and through associations with data\nheld by third parties, they could allow identification of data subjects. This\ncategory includes, for example, the IP address of the system used to connect to\nthe portal. These data are removed from the systems after the statistics processing\nand are kept off-line exclusively for assessments of liability in the case of\ncomputer crimes and only accessible at the request of the Judicial Authority. For\nthe use of online services that provide for the authentication, registration or\nsending of e-mail personal data are freely provided by users in different ways.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the\naddresses indicated on the site entails the subsequent acquisition of the\nsender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other\npersonal data included in the message by the user.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Optional nature of the\nprovision of data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some requested data (eg registration data) are mandatory and failure\nto provide it will make it impossible to provide the requested service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, failure to communicate certain data required for the\nsubscription of online services may make it impossible to use the selected\nservice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration and subscription data are voluntarily provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The person making the registration freely gives consent to the\nprocessing of data, aware that in the absence of such consent registration and\nsubscription of services can not take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The treatments carried out before the revocation of the consent by\nthe interested party will remain valid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Methods of processing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data collection\ntakes place in compliance with the principles of relevance, completeness and\nnon-excess in relation to the purposes for which they are processed. The\npersonal data provided are processed in compliance with the principles of\nlawfulness, fairness and transparency, as set out in article 5 of the GRDP,\nalso with the aid of IT and telematic tools for storing and managing the data,\nand in any case in such a way as to guarantee security and protect the privacy\nof the data subject. The data may be processed anonymously for statistical\nactivities aimed at improving the services offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Use of\ncookies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cookies are text files that are stored\non the computers of web users to allow the safe and efficient exploration of\nthe site and monitor its use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The site https:\/\/www.sites.unimi.it\/gervasinigroup\nDOES NOT use technical and session cookies, tracking cookies and third-party\ncookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profiling cookies are not used for\npurposes other than those stated here. However, there may be other profiling\ncookies or for purposes other than those stated herein used by third-parts\nservices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.4 How to disable cookies\n(opt-out)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Categories\nof parties authorized to process and to whom data can be communicated<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The personal data of the users will be known and\ntreated, in compliance with current legislation on the subject, by the\npersonnel of the Department (identified as Authorized to the treatment)\ninvolved in the maintenance of the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data can be communicated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) to the University structures that request it,\nfor the institutional purposes of the University or in compliance with\nlegislative obligations;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) to non-economic public entities or\nconsortiums owned by the University (eg MIUR) when the communication is\nnecessary for the performance of institutional functions of the requesting\nbody;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

c) to some external subjects, identified as Data\nProcessors pursuant to art. 28 GRDP;In any case, the communication or\ndissemination of data requested, in compliance with the law, by the Public\nSecurity Authority, by the Judicial Authority or by other public entities for\nthe purposes of defense, state security and the ascertainment of crimes, is\nreserved; as well as the communication to the Judicial Authorities in\ncompliance with legal obligations, where they are considered hypotheses of\ncrime. Finally, personal data will not be transferred to third countries or\ninternational organizations unless this is strictly connected to specific\nrequests from the user or to needs related to the finalization of the\nintervention, for which consent will be acquired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Data retention<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ndata will be kept by the University of Milan for the time strictly necessary\nfor the pursuit of the purposes indicated and in compliance with legal\nobligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Rights of\nthe interested part<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interested part can lodge a complaint with a\nsupervisory authority and exercise pursuant to art. from 15 to 22 of the GRDP\nthe right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

propose a complaint to a controlling authority;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ask the data controllers to access their\npersonal data, correct or delete them, limit the processing;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

oppose the treatment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ask for data portability,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
