Stoppani \u2013 A. Desio\u201c bietet Touristen, Wanderern und Bergliebhabern eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, in die Vergangenheit zu reisen und zu beobachten, wo sich der Forni-Gletscher in den letzten zwei Jahrhunderten befand. Auf einem Weg von seltener Sch\u00f6nheit k\u00f6nnen einzigartige und dynamische Landschaften sowie eine beeindruckende Artenvielfalt bewundert werden. Entlang dieser Route kann man das empfindliche Gleichgewicht zwischen Gletscher und Klima verstehen und wie selbst kleine klimatische St\u00f6rungen enorme Dimensions\u00e4nderungen des Gletschers (und seiner Front) verursachen k\u00f6nnen. Zudem kann man entlang der Route Instrumente und \u00dcberwachungsstationen beobachten, die belegen, dass dieses Tal ein echtes Freiluftlabor f\u00fcr die Erforschung des Klimawandels und seiner Umweltauswirkungen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die in Klammern angegebenen Zahlen in der globalen Beschreibung geben die Haltestellen an, die Sie entlang des Weges finden werden. Sie sind durch Tafeln auf Felsen und\/oder Pfosten gekennzeichnet. Auf diesen Tafeln finden Sie die Nummer des Beobachtungspunktes, das Jahr, in dem der Gletscher die Position der Tafel erreicht hat, sowie QR-Codes. Scannen Sie diese mit Ihrem <strong><span style=\"color: var(--ast-global-color-0);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">smartphone<\/span><\/strong>, um Zugang zu multimedialem Material (Texte, Fotos, Filme) zu erhalten. So k\u00f6nnen Sie Ihr Wissen \u00fcber die an den einzelnen Haltestellen beobachtbaren spezifischen Aspekte vertiefen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Gletscherpfad <strong>\u201eA. Stoppani \u2013 A. Desio\u201c<\/strong> verl\u00e4uft durch das <strong><span style=\"color: var(--ast-global-color-0);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Val dei Forni <\/span><\/strong>bis kurz vor die aktuelle Gletscherstirn. Die Route verl\u00e4uft zun\u00e4chst auf der rechten hydrographischen Seite des Tals (das hei\u00dft rechts vom Wanderer, der mit dem R\u00fccken zur Quelle und mit dem Gesicht zur Talsohle das Wasser flie\u00dfen sieht). Sie beginnt am niedrigen Parkplatz des Rifugio dei Forni. Dort erreichte der Gletscher im Jahr 1859 seine gr\u00f6\u00dfte Ausdehnung in der Kleinen Eiszeit <strong>(1)<\/strong> Vom Parkplatz aus geht man auf dem ebenen Feldweg weiter. Von dort aus kann man die Position der Front in den Jahren 1873 und 1810 <strong>(2)<\/strong> beobachten (die nicht in regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Abst\u00e4nden stehenden Daten zeigen die Komplexit\u00e4t der Vorr\u00fcck- und R\u00fcckzugsphasen des Gletschers im 19. Jahrhundert).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der unbefestigte Weg f\u00fchrt weiter bergauf auf der hydrographischen rechten Seite bis zu einer Lichtung. Von dort aus kann man die Forni-Schleuse sehen, die den Wildbach Frodolfo absperrt, um das Wasser f\u00fcr hydroelektrische Zwecke zu nutzen. Au\u00dferdem kann man die Position der Front im Jahr 1885 beobachten <strong>(3)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man folgt weiterhin dem unbefestigten Weg, passiert eine Wetterstation und biegt rechts auf den Winterweg zum Rifugio Branca ab (der Hauptweg ist der Sommerweg). Kurz vor der M\u00fcndung des Frodolfo \u00fcberquert man den Wildbach Cedech auf einer kleinen Br\u00fccke. Auf der Br\u00fccke ist die PNS-Instrumentierung zur \u00dcberwachung des Idro-Stelvio-Wassers gut sichtbar. Eine gut erhaltene Seitenmor\u00e4ne, die vollst\u00e4ndig von Strauchvegetation besiedelt ist, verl\u00e4uft entlang des Bachufers und zeugt von der Lage der Gletscherfront im Jahr 1903, die nahezu mit der von 1830 \u00fcbereinstimmt <strong>(4)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wenn man nahezu eben weitergeht, erreicht man die von Ardito Desio <strong>(5) <\/strong>\u00a0beschriebene Frontmor\u00e4ne von 1926 und anschlie\u00dfend die Position der Gletscherzunge im Jahr 1937 <strong>(6)<\/strong>. Die leicht ansteigende Schotterstra\u00dfe f\u00fchrt zu einer kleinen Br\u00fccke \u00fcber den Torrente Frodolfo. Auf dieser Br\u00fccke sind die PNS-Idrostelvio-Instrumente zur \u00dcberwachung des Wassers im Park ebenfalls gut sichtbar <strong>(6a)<\/strong>. Unmittelbar nach der Br\u00fccke erreicht man die Stelle, an der sich die Stirn im Jahr 1954 <strong>(7)<\/strong> befand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kurz darauf steigt der Weg in Kehren steil an. In der Talsohle des Haupttals, unterhalb des glatten Felsvorsprungs, der das Tal unterbricht, sind die gut erhaltenen Seitenstirnmor\u00e4nen zu sehen. Sie zeugen vom kurzen Vorsto\u00df des Gletschers in den Jahren 1970\u20131985 <strong>(8)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Etwa auf halber H\u00f6he des Felsabbruchs kann man auch die Lage der Gletscherfront im Jahr 1964, vor dem eben erw\u00e4hnten Vorsto\u00df, beobachten. Weiter geht es in steilen Serpentinen auf der linken Seite des Gletschers bis auf eine H\u00f6he von etwa 2400 m, wo ein Kiefernstamm (Pinus cembra L.) gefunden wurde, der \u00fcber 4000 Jahre lang im Mor\u00e4nenschutt begraben war <strong>(9 und 9a)<\/strong>. Beim Aufstieg kann man links auf den von der Gletschererosion gegl\u00e4tteten Felsplatten charakteristische Streifen von brauner, gelber und r\u00f6tlicher Farbe beobachten, die von der Umwandlung der in den metamorphen Gesteinen enthaltenen Eisenminerale herr\u00fchren. Wir \u00fcberqueren den Bach links auf einer kleinen Br\u00fccke und gehen weiter auf dem steilen Pfad, auf dem einige Felsplatten, die auch charakteristische, durch die Erosion von subglazialen Gew\u00e4ssern entstandene Hohlr\u00e4ume (\u201eRiesent\u00f6pfe\u201c) enthalten, Vorsicht beim Begehen erfordern, insbesondere nach Regenf\u00e4llen, die sie sehr rutschig machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oben auf dem Kamm angekommen, f\u00fchrt der Weg steil bergab zwischen gegl\u00e4tteten Platten und verstreutem Ger\u00f6ll, bis er oberhalb des Felsabbruchs ankommt, der von Punkt 8 aus deutlich sichtbar ist, wo die Front 1995 <strong>(10)<\/strong> w\u00e4hrend des schnellen R\u00fcckzugs nach dem Vorsto\u00df von 1970-1985 zum Stillstand kam. Man \u00fcberquert einen Nebenarm des Gletscherbachs, der oft trocken f\u00e4llt, \u00fcber eine H\u00e4ngebr\u00fccke und nimmt rechts den kleinen, mit Steinm\u00e4nnchen markierten Weg, der die gesamte proglaziale Ebene (<em>Sandur<\/em>) durchquert. Diese ist durch eine schnell ansteigende krautige und strauchige Pioniervegetation gekennzeichnet <strong>(10a).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dort st\u00f6\u00dft man auf einen Felsblock mit roten Schildern des Glaziologischen Dienstes der Lombardei. Diese geben die Position der Gletscherfront in den Jahren 2010 <strong>(11)<\/strong>, 2016 <strong>(12)<\/strong> und 2022 <strong>(13)<\/strong> an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hier endet der Stoppani-Desio-Glaziologische-Trail. Von Punkt 13 aus ist die aktuelle Gletscherzunge deutlich sichtbar. Ihre Oberfl\u00e4che ist reichlich mit Schutt bedeckt, der auf der linken hydrographischen Seite verstreut ist. Dort gibt es auch weit verbreitete Einbr\u00fcche und Zusammenbr\u00fcche. Auf der rechten hydrographischen Seite ist der Schutt zu einer Mittel- oder Schwimmmor\u00e4ne organisiert. Die Zunge ist seit 2010 Gegenstand eines Umweltmonitorings durch die Forschungsgruppe Glacio-\u00d6kologie der Staatlichen Universit\u00e4t Mailand. Auf ihrer Oberfl\u00e4che befinden sich h\u00e4ufig Instrumente zur Untersuchung von Gebirgs\u00f6kosystemen <strong>(13a). <\/strong>Auch Artefakte aus der Zeit des Ersten Weltkriegs (Munition, Stacheldraht &#8230;) werden auf der Zunge immer h\u00e4ufiger gefunden. Studien \u00fcber historische Aspekte in diesem Bereich des Parks sind von gro\u00dfer Bedeutung und Interesse<strong>(13b).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von Punkt 13 aus ist auch die permanente automatische Wetterstation (AWS) sichtbar. Diese wurde 2005 von der Universit\u00e4t Mailand in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen lokalen und nationalen Einrichtungen und Verb\u00e4nden auf dem oberen Teil der Gletscherzunge aufgestellt. Seitdem ist sie ununterbrochen in Betrieb, um Daten und Informationen \u00fcber das Mikroklima des Gletschers und die Energiefl\u00fcsse an der Oberfl\u00e4che zu sammeln. Smiraglia, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong><strong><strong>INFORMATIONEN F\u00dcR DEN ABSTIEG<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von der Vorderseite des Forni-Gletschers (Punkt 13) aus kann man auf zwei Wegen zur Forni-H\u00fctte zur\u00fcckkehren:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) auf demselben Weg wie beim Aufstieg oder;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) \u00fcber die zweite H\u00e4ngebr\u00fccke (auch tibetische Br\u00fccke genannt). Diese kleine H\u00e4ngebr\u00fccke erm\u00f6glicht die \u00dcberquerung des Gletscherbachs an der Stelle unterhalb der Sandur, wo man eine Furt macht. Diese Br\u00fccke wurde auf dem Aufstiegsweg nicht passiert. Sie bietet die M\u00f6glichkeit, einen Gletscherbach w\u00e4hrend der Ablationszeit von oben zu beobachten. Von hier aus steigt man vorsichtig an einigen vom Gletscher gegl\u00e4tteten Felsplatten vorbei ab und geht fast eben weiter, indem man an der Innenseite der imposanten hydrographischen rechten Mor\u00e4ne entlanggeht (achten Sie auf die Schilder, die auf m\u00f6gliche Steinschl\u00e4ge hinweisen). Von hier aus kann man zur Branca-H\u00fctte (2 493 m) weitergehen. \u00dcber einen anderen Weg, der leicht bergab f\u00fchrt, erreicht man dann die <strong>Rifugio-dei-Forni-H\u00fctte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong><strong>MERKMALE DES GLACIOLOGISCHEN PFADS<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">Der Stoppani-Desio-Pfad zum Forni-Gletscher ist ein Weg in einer hochgelegenen nat\u00fcrlichen Umgebung. Er sollte mit entsprechender Ausr\u00fcstung und unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung der eigenen Kondition und der k\u00f6rperlichen Grenzen in Angriff genommen werden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">Dabei sind die Wetterbedingungen am Tag des Ausflugs sowie die Bekanntmachungen und eventuellen Warnungen der Beh\u00f6rden in den Tagen vor dem Ausflug zu beachten. Auf Wunsch k\u00f6nnen sich die Wanderer von Bergf\u00fchrern oder Mittelgebirgsf\u00fchrern begleiten lassen. Seine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr die Natur f\u00fchrte ihn an die Spitze des Museo Civico di Storia Naturale in Mailand, wo er zahlreiche Menschen f\u00fcr die Sch\u00f6nheit und Komplexit\u00e4t der nat\u00fcrlichen Welt begeisterte. Als Autor zahlreicher B\u00fccher erforschte Stoppani faszinierende Themen wie Pal\u00e4ontologie und Vulkanologie und hinterlie\u00df einen unausl\u00f6schlichen Eindruck in der Erforschung der Geologie der Alpen. In seinem ber\u00fchmtesten Werk \u201eIl Bel Paese\u201d beschreibt er den R\u00fcckzug des Forno-Gletschers \u2013 ein Thema von gro\u00dfer Aktualit\u00e4t in einer Zeit, in der sich die Gletscher st\u00e4ndig ver\u00e4ndern. Jahrhunderts. Nach seinem Studium der Naturwissenschaften an der Universit\u00e4t Florenz gr\u00fcndete er das Institut f\u00fcr Geologie an der Universit\u00e4t Mailand und leitete es. Seine Abenteuerlust f\u00fchrte ihn dazu, wissenschaftliche Missionen zu entlegenen Orten der Erde zu organisieren, wo er Forschungen in den Bereichen Geologie, Pal\u00e4ontologie und Glaziologie durchf\u00fchrte. Ber\u00fchmt wurde Desio durch die Leitung der historischen Expedition von 1954, bei der der Gipfel des K2, des zweith\u00f6chsten Berges der Welt, bezwungen wurde. Er war Pr\u00e4sident des Comitato Glaciologico Italiano und ver\u00f6ffentlichte Hunderte von Artikeln und B\u00e4nden, die wesentlich zum Verst\u00e4ndnis von Gletschern, darunter auch dem Forni-Gletscher, beitrugen.
