Roadmap for Admission and Enrollment:
a two-step procedure
FIRST STEP: Admission.
The deadline for Admission Request (1st step) is on the 3rd of October 2022 at 2.00 pm. There are 25 places available: hurry up!
The request for admission must be submitted before the deadline, as follows:
- Register on the University portal by accessing the online form. This operation is not required for applicants already registered on the portal or with University login credentials, such as Milan University students or graduates, who can skip the signing-in.
- Log in with your credentials and apply for admission through the online service.
- Pay the admission fee (50.00 €, non-refundable).
- Upload the following documents in .pdf, .jpg or .rtf format:
- For everyone: CV (specifying the degree held) for use in the selection and awarding of any scholarships; any other document that may be requested in the course sheet.
- For candidates who have obtained a degree from a foreign university:
- University degree;
- Translation of the qualification into Italian by an official translator and certified in accordance with existing legislation;
- “Dichiarazione di valore in loco” (statement of validity) to be requested from the Italian diplomatic office in the country in which the qualification was awarded;
- Degree certificate in Italian or English with the exams and the relative voting;
- Passport (only the page with personal data). The documents listed in points b), c) and d) above may be replaced by a Diploma Supplement issued by the University in accordance with European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES standards, or by any other statement of validity issued by ENIC_NARIC centres or by diplomatic offices in Italy.
- The list of admitted students will be published online at this link by the 24th of October 2022. (The publication has notification value to all effects, therefore no personal communication will be sent to candidates).
- Those (admitted) who do not intend to enrol are required to promptly notify the Doctoral and Master’s programmes desk of the Student Registrar.
SECOND STEP: Enrollment.
The deadline for Enrollment (2nd step, if admitted) is on the 2nd of November 2022.
The request for enrollment must be submitted before the deadline and only by admitted candidates (after scholarships are awarded, more info at the bottom of this page), through the enrollment service.
- Payment of the first instalment (€ 1,516.00 by the 2nd of November 2022). Those admitted are required to pay the first part of the enrollment fee according to the payment methods indicated on the registration page. If the registration fee is paid by a person other than the candidate or by an Institution, Body or Company, the latter will have to pay the amount according to the same methods and timing as indicated above. The enrollment fee remains outside the scope of VAT, therefore no invoice will be issued. Late payment will result in the application of a late payment fee of € 30.00. Candidates who receive a scholarship are also required to pay the stamp duty.
- Payment of the second instalment (€ 2,500.00). The payment of the second instalment must be made by 1 February 2023 through UNIMIA, on the personal student portal from which you can directly access the Online Payments Management Service. Late payment of the second instalment will result in the application of a late payment fee of € 30.00 for payments made with a delay of up to 15 days and € 60.00 for payments carried out with a longer delay.
