We showed that the non-Markovianity can be a resource to protect the entanglement (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1103\/PhysRevA.75.062119\" target=\"_blank\">Phys. Rev. A in 2007<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1103\/PhysRevA.80.062324\" target=\"_blank\">2009<\/a> and in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1103\/PhysRevA.83.042321\" target=\"_blank\">2011<\/a>) and can be exploited to improve the security of continuous-variable quantum key distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More recently we focused to the use of photonic systems to implement optical simulators of quantum systems. In particular, we investigated the effect of classical noise on quantum non-Markovian dynamics (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1103\/PhysRevA.100.052104\" target=\"_blank\">Phys. Rev. A in 2019<\/a>) and the local-to-global noise transition in qubit systems (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1103\/PhysRevA.101.032348\" target=\"_blank\">Phys. Rev. A in 2020<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am also interested in the investigation of the possible feasible schemes to counteract decoherence (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/opg.optica.org\/josab\/abstract.cfm?uri=josab-39-4-1059\" target=\"_blank\">J. Opt. Soc. Am.\u00a0in 2022<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1142\/S0219749923400026\" target=\"_blank\">Int. J. Quant.
