The goal of the Centre is the setting up of an Interdepartmental\u00a0 coordination framework at Universit\u00e0 degli Studi (Milan), for carrying out studies and research activities focusing, on one hand, on the judicial protection of rights in a multilevel legal systems\u2019 perspective (relationships between national courts\/proceedings and supranational courts, tribunals and proceedings: e.g. ECtHR, CJEU); on the other hand, on the legal issues arising out of civil and commercial cross-border litigation in a series of relevant substantive legal sectors (fundamental procedural principles; cross-border contract, competition, IP, banking, financial, labour and family law). Cross-border litigation has become more and more relevant over the last years due to the increasing interaction between legal and economic systems. It raises relevant issues as to its theoretical assessement and its practical application.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe different activities implemented within the Centre (scientific publications, conferences, seminars, workshops \u2013 with the involvement of Italian and foreign academics, practitioners, policy-makers, students \u2013, the constant update of this web platform) will be carried out by Law Professors who are experts in the different legal sectors covered by the Centre.
