Giovanni Ziccardi<\/b>\u00a0(1969) is Professor of\u00a0Legal Informatics<\/strong>\u00a0(“Informatica Giuridica”) at the University of\u00a0Milan,<\/strong>\u00a0former Founder and Director of the post-graduate Course in “Legal Informatics<\/strong>“\u00a0<\/strong>and Founder and Director of the post-graduate Course in “Computer Crimes and Digital Investigations<\/strong>. He is also the founder and the former Director of the post-graduate Course in Data Protection<\/strong> and Digital Investigation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He is the Director<\/strong> of the “Information Society Law Center” (ISLC<\/strong>) of the University of Milan and member of the Security Committee<\/strong>\u00a0and of the Ethical Committee<\/strong> of the University.<\/p>\n

Professor Ziccardi received his graduate degree (in\u00a0Law)<\/strong>\u00a0from the University of\u00a0Modena<\/strong>\u00a0and his Ph.D. in\u00a0Legal Informatics<\/strong>\u00a0from the University of\u00a0Bologna.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Giovanni Ziccardi<\/strong> (Castelfranco Emilia, 1969) \u00e8 professore di \u201cInformatica Giuridica<\/strong>\u201d presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Milano; insegna criminalit\u00e0 informatica al Master in diritto delle nuove tecnologie dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Bologna.<\/p>\n

Coordinatore Scientifico del Centro di Ricerca Coordinato in “Information Society Law<\/strong>” (ISLC), \u00e8 componente del Comitato Sicurezza<\/strong>\u00a0e del Comitato Etico dell’Ateneo milanese.<\/p>\n

Dal 1984 \u2013 anno in cui gli fu regalato il primo computer \u2013 ha tenuto i contatti con gli ambienti hacker nazionali e internazionali, incontrandone gli esponenti e studiandone l\u2019evoluzione. Ha dedicato a quegli anni un saggio<\/strong> (\u201cHacker \u2013 Il richiamo della libert\u00e0\u201d, Marsilio, 2011) e tre\u00a0thriller<\/strong> (“Occhi nella rete”, Mucchi, Modena, 2000; \u201cL\u2019ultimo hacker\u201d, Marsilio, 2012; “La Rete Ombra”, Marsilio, 2018).<\/p>\n

Avvocato e pubblicista, \u00e8 laureato in Giurisprudenza<\/strong> presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Modena e dottore di ricerca<\/strong> presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Bologna.<\/p>\n

I suoi ultimi lavori sono sull’uso delle tecnologie in politica (“Tecnologie per il potere”, Raffaello Cortina, 2019), sulla resistenza elettronica<\/strong> (\u201cResistance, Liberation Technology and Human Rights in the Digital Age\u201d, Springer, 2012), sulla societ\u00e0 controllata<\/strong> (\u201cInternet, controllo e libert\u00e0\u201d, Raffaello Cortina, 2015), sulle espressioni d\u2019odio<\/strong> (\u201cL\u2019odio online\u201d, Raffaello Cortina, 2016) e sulla morte digitale<\/strong> (\u201cIl Libro Digitale dei Morti\u201d, UTET, 2017).<\/p>\n

Ha pubblicato articoli scientifici in Italia, Europa e Giappone e monografie con i pi\u00f9 importanti editori nazionali e internazionali. Dirige una rivista scientifica, \u201cCiberspazio e Diritto<\/strong>\u201d; collabora con \u201cil Mulino\u201d, \u201cDoppiozero\u201d, \u201cil Fatto Quotidiano\u201d, \u201cil Corriere della Sera\u201d e \u201cl\u2019Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani\u201d.<\/p>\n

Accanto alle attivit\u00e0 di ricerca, crede nell\u2019importanza della divulgazione<\/strong> sui temi della sicurezza informatica e della privacy. Ha curato per anni, a tal fine, la rubrica \u201cDiritti digitali\u201d sul settimanale \u201cDonna Moderna\u201d e ha pubblicato un libro sull\u2019uso responsabile dei social media da parte degli adolescenti (Giuffr\u00e8-Corriere della Sera, 2017).<\/p>\n

Organizza da anni i percorsi formativi informatico-giuridici in occasione del Festival Internazionale del Giornalismo<\/strong> di Perugia.<\/p>\n
