Luca obtained his BSc at the Università degli Studi di Milano in 2014 under the supervision of prof. Bernardi working on two different approaches towards the synthesis of 5-Chloro-2-(4’-methoxyphenyl)-3-methyl-benzofuran. He focused his Master thesis project on the synthesis of glycomimetic ligands of DC-SIGN with improved activity, obtaining his MSc in 2016.
He is undertaking his PhD studies under the joint supervision of prof. Bernardi and Indena S.p.A. (Dottorato in Apprendistato di Alta Formazione e di Ricerca).
