Collaborations

We strongly believe that to collaborate is necessarily about bringing individual scientists together to advance the frontiers of science in new ways.

The success of a bioactive compound depends on the integration of computational chemistry, synthetic chemistry and biology thus scientists must champion the cause of interdisciplinary research and demonstrate its utility through their collaborative achievements. Furthermore, to address biological questions is necessary to match a chemist’s mindset with a biologist’s one therefore JUPITERLAB shares its expertise in different collaborations.

Beside the collaborations in the research area of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology, JUPITERLAB is involved in proof of concept project regarding the invented antimicrobial, for this reason, JUPITERLAB works with different private companies as well as for the identification of impurities.

INTERCONNECT

ExplorINg The SynERgistic EffeCts Of DPP-IV and CA iNhibition in ANtidiabEtiC Therapy: A Study on Glucose Homeostasis

We are proud to announce our group won the prestigious call SEED4EU+ among more than hundreds of proposals.

The INTERCONNECT project aims to explore the synergistic effects of inhibiting DPP-IV and CA isoforms II and V on glucose homeostasis, advancing therapeutic strategies for treating type 2 diabetes (T2DM). To achieve this goal we have established a network among the University of Milan, Charles University, Heidelberg University, and the University of Geneva.
