The study ‘Male Sex Workers. A comparative study of a fringe phenomenon in Italy and Sweden’ is carried out by Marco Bacio.
Marco is a PhD candidate in Sociology at University of Milan (Italy) and in Gender Studies at Lund University (Sweden).
Marco has an extensive knowledge on gay studies, queer studies, sex work rights, and legislative regimes. His previous academic work involves labour rights and trade unions. These research interests and expertise lead to the development of this study placing emphasis on sex work as a profession.
