Current position


From July 2026 I am Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Università degli Studi di Milano.
My research is supported by the FIS 3 Starting Grant Stability Conditions on Noncommutative Varieties with Applications in Algebraic Geometry (link).

Previously, I have been RTT from July 2024 to June 2026, RTDa from September 2022 to June 2024 in Milano, a Post-Doc in Milano with mentor Bert van Geemen, a Post-Doc in the group of Paolo Stellari, and in fall 2018 at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Arend Bayer.

Together with Chiara Camere and Mattia Ornaghi I am organizing the Algebraic Geometry Seminar joint with Università degli Studi di Milano and Politecnico di Milano.

Research interests


My research field is in the context of complex algebraic geometry. In particular, I work on:

  • Derived categories of coherent sheaves.
  • Cubic fourfolds.
  • Gushel-Mukai varieties.
  • Stability conditions on triangulated categories.
  • Irreducible holomorphic symplectic varieties.
