Sustainable Chemical Operations
Our current researches, your future technologies
The research group SusCheOpe (Sustainable Chemical Operations) is focused on the development of innovative research topics of potential industrial interest in the fields of chemical reactivity, expecially promoted by eterogeneus catalysis, of separations and process simulation.
The chemical reactivity is studied in different types of reactor (batch, semibatch and continuous) and is dedicated to the production of fuels or materials looking for strategies and raw materials with a less impactful effect on the enviroment compared to the traditional methods.
The separation processes are conducted with distillations (batch and continuous), absorbments and solid-gas separations (adsorption).
The process simulation is based on innovatives softwares that can reproduce different types of processes or parts of them. The process simulation, often paired with the sperimental activity, allows the analysis and optimization of new technologies and plants.
