Associated professor of Chemistry Physics at the Chemistry Department of the Università degli Studi di Milano. She obtained a research PhD title in Chemistry in 1999 with a thesis on Oxides Electrochemistry.
Her research topics are mainly in the field of inorganic and organic electrocatalysis, with particular attention to the reaction of oxigen reduction and the preparation/characterization of nanostructured materials (carbon, conductive oxides, silica).
She teaches in the Chemisrty Physics II Laboratory in the bachelor course of Chemistry. She is in charge of the BET instrument in the Department for the determinnation of porosity and surface area of materials.
