Homogenous Catalysis: a) transition metal catalysis; b) asymmetric catalysis; c) design and synthesis of supramolecular catalysts; d) development of sustainable and efficient reduction methodologies (iron catalyzed reductions, asymmetric hydrogenation of pyridines and tandem metathesis-hydrogenation processes); e) photoredox.

Medicinal Chemistry: a) Synthesis of new drug release systems (Linker-payload modules, self-immolative spacers) for targeted therapeis; b) Development of new Antibody-Drug Conjugates and other drug delivery technologies; c) Synthesis of high-affinity small molecule ligands for clinically-relevant proteins.
