Here you will find all the information about the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court, the competition in the field of Investment protection law in which the Statale Teas participate every year.

The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (https://www.investmentmoot.org/) is the oldest and most prestigious student competition in the area of investment protection law, in which the participants will have the chance to deal with one of the fastest developing areas of international law, by both studying and practicing it. 

The competition’s field essentially concerns investment contracts and related disputes between States or public entities and private investors (natural or legal persons), within sectors that includes significant transaction in the corporate energy telecommunication procurement and similar fields.

The competition officially begins each year in November, with the publication of a “Case-Study”, the same for all teams, and is divided into two phases;
a) Written phase, in which the teams will prepare a skeleton of arguments for both the Claimant and the Respondent, 
b) Oral phase, where the teams will defend the position of both Claimant and Respondent in oral hearings before tribunals composed of eminent sector specialists.

In preparation of the final stage in March, in Frankfurt, each year, during January and February, Institution all around the world organise several pre-moots where a limited number of teams meets to train in view of the final stage
