Postdoctoral Fellow
andrea.tagliani@unimi.it
My work focuses on the isolation of anti-microbial peptide aptamers from combinatorial libraries targeting fungal and oomycetes cell-wall-associated enzymes through a yeast two-hybrid approach.
I am also interested on the structural and functional characterization of these peptide-enzyme interactions.
Postdoctoral Fellow
lisa.rotasperti@unimi.it
I’m a Post-doc researcher and my work is focused on fruit development in Arabidopsis thaliana and Solanum lycopersicum. I study transcription factors involved in fruit development and maturation with the aim to prolongate shelf life.
Postdoctoral Fellow
elena.marone@unimi.it
I’m a Post-doc researcher and my work is focused on peptide aptamers identification from genetically-encoded combinatorial libraries, using the yeast two-hybrid approach. My intent is to isolate peptides that target plant pathogen proteins and show antimicrobial activity. I'm also interested in the characterization of these peptide-protein interactions.
PhD Student
nina.capra@unimi.it
I am a PhD student in Industrial Intersectoral Innovation, with a research focus on the discovery of cyclic peptides from combinatorial libraries. My work aims to identify peptides with biostimulatory activity that can enhance crop resilience by inducing resistance to both biotic and abiotic stresses in agriculturally important plants.
Fellow
maja.dragisic@unimi.it
Hi, I'm Maja, a fellowship student.
I'm working with the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, in particular I'm studying NAC genes that are involved in silique development.
Master Student
chiara.braida@studenti.unimi.it
Hi, I'm Chiara and I'm a master thesis student in Biodiversity and Biological Evolution. I'm working with the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, in particular I'm studying NAC genes that are involved in fruit development, with a focus on the vascolarization of the silique.
Bachelor Student
andrea.decarolis@studenti.unimi.it
Hi, I'm a bachelor student in Scienze e Politiche Ambientali. I'm working on the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and I study NAC genes involved in silique development.
I am a bachelor's student in Agronomic Engineering at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. I am currently doing an internship in Masiero's lab, and my project is focused on antimicrobial proteins involved in multitrophic plant-insect-fungus interactions.
