The International HNE-Club organizes biennial scientific meetings on even years. The scientific meetings are not just focused on 4-HNE, but address all areas of lipid oxidation and its relevance to biological and biomedical science. The meetings are usually 2 days in length, and consist of presentations both by invited speakers of international reputation, and short oral presentations by early-stage researchers, as well as posters. An important objective of the meetings is to encourage participation by younger members of the Club, as well as enhancing collaboration and knowledge transfer at the highest level.
