I got both my BSc and MSc at Università degli Studi di Milano, working on semiclassical dynamics with prof. Riccardo Conte and Prof. Michele Ceotto. I completed my PhD under the supervision of prof. Riccardo Conte, with a scholarship financed by INPS. Now I am at the University of South Carolina, working with prof. S. Garashchuk on Quantum Trajectories methods.
Main research interests
- Development of methods for semiclassical dynamics
- Investigation of nuclear quantum effects and anharmonicity in vibrational spectroscopy
- Application of semiclassical dynamics to the vibrational spectroscopy of biomolecular systems
- Quantum-classical dynamics with Gaussian basis functions
