I obtained my Bachelor (1999) and Master Degree (2001) in Physics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I received my PhD in Physics (Université Bordaux) and Chemistry (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) in 2005. My thesis, co-directed by Prof. Armando Riera and Prof. Bernard Pons, dealt with atomic collisions in fusion plasmas. I then joined the IESL-Univeristy of Crete, group of Prof. Stavros Farantos, for a Marie Curie ToK postdoc on Grid Computing and Quantum Molecular Dynamics. Afterwards, I held researcher posts at the Universitat de Barcelona (Dr. Fermin Huarte's group) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (TCAM group). I recently joined Michele Ceotto's group at the Università di Milano.
Main research interests
- Quantum Molecular Dynamics: ro-vibrational spectra and dissociative processes.
- Theoretical study of laser-molecule and laser-atom interactions.
- Development of computational methods for numerical resolution of TDSE.
- Semi-classical and classical (CTMC) approaches of ion-atom and ion-molecule collisions.
