All registered ISE participants can attend Symposium 14 in its dedicated Hall implemented on the Microsoft ® TEAMS platform at Università degli Studi di Milano (UNIMI).
To be able to freely enter the Hall and attend the Symposium at any time from Wednesday September 2nd (8.30 am CEST) to Friday September 4th (6 pm CEST), each participant has to be enrolled as Symposium 14 Guest by the Organizing committee.
To this aim:
- please send an email to patrizia.mussini@unimi.it with your name, surname and email address;
- the organizing committee will enroll you among Symposium 14 Hall Guests; concurrently, patrizia.mussini@unimi.it (or coorganizers mirko.magni@unimi.it, serena.arnaboldi@unimi.it or sara.grecchi@unimi.it) will send you a mail with an invitation link.
- please accept the invitation by clicking on the link;
- if you already have a Teams account and you have Teams installed on your device, by clicking on the link you will be invited to launch Microsoft Teams (on your PC, or tablet, or smartphone); on doing it, you will find the Symposium Hall among your Teams Halls and will be able to enter it. (Please note that this will work only if the email address sent to us for registration matches the email used for registering your Teams account);
- if you already have a Teams account but you do not have Teams installed on your device, by clicking on the link, the web version of Teams will open in the browser (on your PC, or tablet, or smartphone); on doing it, you will find the Symposium Hall among your Teams Halls and will be able to enter it. (Please note that this will work only if the email address sent to us for registration and the email used for registering your Teams account coincide);
- if you do not have a Teams account yet, by clicking on the link you will be invited to download the Team app first (in Windows or Web version; it is free of charge and it will require only a short time; in doing it, please take care to register your Teams account with the same email address sent to us), and then to launch it (on your PC, or tablet, or smartphone); on doing it, you will find the Symposium Hall and will be able to enter it.
- You will be also requested to confirm the following lines, according to ISE guidelines about copyright issues: “I understand that storing of content presented in the ISE Online Meeting is strictly prohibited in any form and format. Violation may lead to the exclusion from the meeting”
- if you have any problem in following the above procedures, please email patrizia.mussini@unimi.it. One of us (patrizia.mussini@unimi.it, mirko.magni@unimi.it, serena.arnaboldi@unimi.it or sara.grecchi@unimi.it) will assist you.
Once performed the above procedure successfully, you will be able:
- to watch all video presentations in asynchronous mode, at any time from Wednesday September 2nd (8.30 am CEST) to Friday September 4th (6 pm CEST), each one in a dedicated channel with associated post thread, enabling to interact with the presentation author in asynchronous mode and even in self-arranged live video meetings in the channel of interest; IMPORTANT: Recording or storing the content is prohibited in any form and format. Violation of this may lead to exclusion from the online meeting. Request for copies of the material may be directed to the authors or copyright holders. They may decide to provide copies at their own discretion.
- to interact with each presentation authors in his/her post threads, in asynchronous mode, or even in a self-arranged video meeting;
- to take part to synchronous live events, according to the following schedule:
- Wednesday September 2nd:
13.30-14.30 CEST Synchronous Live Discussions/Round Table with suitable chairpersons on presentations included in groups A and B
14.30-15.30 CEST Poster Prize interviews of the student poster presenters by the prize committee
- Thursday September 3rd:
13.30-14.30 CEST Synchronous ISE Division 6 annual meeting (if not otherwise arranged by ISE);
14.30-15.30 CEST Synchronous Live Discussions/Round Table with suitable chairpersons on presentations included in groups C and D
- Friday September 4th:
13.30-15.30 CEST Synchronous Live Discussions/Round Table with suitable chairpersons on presentations included in groups E,F,G,H
