CASCO project is coordinated by the Department of Veterinary Medicine (DiMeVet) together with the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (DiSAA – Production, Territory, Agroenergy) and the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policies (ESP) of the University of Milan, with the collaboration of the farms “Capre e cavoli” by Chiara Pasquali, “Elleboro” by Samuele Cangi, “Il Vallone” by Mattia Crivelli and “Pian del Lares” by Flavio Carraro.
Department of Veterinary Medicine
The Department of Veterinary Medicine (DIMEVET) carries out research and teaching activities mainly in the field of veterinary medicine. A more general objective is the promotion of health and well-being of animals and humans, also in their interaction with the environment.
Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
DiSAA develops its activities with a view to advancing, through scientific research, the knowledge related to agricultural, forestry, livestock, environmental and energy systems based on a multidisciplinary approach, aimed at promoting an effective and efficient management of complex agricultural systems.
Department of Environmental Sciences and Policies
The Department of Environmental Science and Policies (ESP) is a research and training structure expressly dedicated to the study of environmental sciences, with multidisciplinary scientific skills necessary for an integrated analysis of the environment. The Department deals with environmental issues in the broadest possible way, focusing on the coexistence, in the same scientific body, of the widest spectrum of skills and the development of a strongly interdisciplinary approach.
