The Department of Veterinary Medicine (DIMEVET) carries out research and teaching activities mainly in the field of veterinary medicine. A more general objective is the promotion of health and well-being of animals and humans, also in their interaction with the environment.
Role in CASCO: project manager, coordination of activities, responsible for information activities, parasitological analyses.
Role in CASCO: parasitological analyses, in vitro parasitological tests aimed at evaluating the efficacy of foods containing tannins.
Role in CASCO: periodic assessment of the body condition score (lumbar BCS) of goats, collection and evaluation of the data relating to individual and/or flock production performance, collaboration in the preparation of rations containing tannin active ingredients.
Role in CASCO: periodic sampling, periodic evaluation of the health status of subjects enrolled in food tests.
