Denise Cavuoto is a Ph.D. student at Università degli Studi di Milano – Dipartimento di Chimica in collaboration with SCITEC Institute of the CNR. She obtained her bachelor in Chimica Industriale at UNIMI in December 2016 with a thesis on the valorization and characterization of the rice bran through enzymatic processes supervised by Prof. Giovanna Speranza. She gratuated in Industrial Chemistry in February 2019 at UNIMI with a thesis work oriented on the synthesis of biosurfactant using green clay acid catalysts focusing on the evaluation of the properties of the products and on the characterization of the clay catalysts under the supervision of Prof. Giovanna speranza (UNIMI) and Dr. Nicoletta Ravasio (CNR).

Now she is working as Ph.D. student in the Prof. Antonella Gervasini group togheter with SCITEC group of the CNR under the co-supervision of Dr. Federica Zaccheria and her research is focused on the synthesis of biobased monomer using heterogeneous catalyst with a green methodologies.
