1 August 2022 – Enter into force of the EU Regulation 2019/1111 of 25 June 2019 on jurisdiction, the recognition and enforcement of decisions in matrimonial matters and the matters of parental responsibility, and on international child abduction (recast)

As of today, 1 August 2022, EU Regulation N. 2019/1111 of 25 June 2019, relating to jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and in matters of parental responsibility, and international abduction of minors has entered into force, replacing EC Regulation N. 2201/2003 of 27 November 2003, relating to jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement of decisions in matrimonial matters and in matters of parental responsibility (so-called “Brussels II bis”).
