The Group is active in the development of some photocatalytic processes, listed here below:
- photocatalytic abatement of N-containing pollutants from waste/drinkable water;
- photoreduction of CO2 at high pressure;
- photoproduction of H2 from wastes;
- design of unconventional photoreactors
In every case the attention is more focused on the development of the photoreactor and the relative process, rather than on the study of the mechanism or material optimisation.
Especially for this applicative view, we have obtained various research grants as detailed in the On-going projects page.
