Applying the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union – The Academy of European Law (ERA) – Barcelona 6 – 7 November 2017

On November 6 and 7, 2017, the Academy of European Law (ERA) will organize a seminar for judges and court staff from EU Member States who are involved in the application of the EU Charter’s provisions governing Union citizens’ rights (especially in the field of civil and administrative law), aimed at providing participants with sound knowledge of the scope and interpretation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, as well as its relationship with other legal instruments protecting fundamental rights in Europe. A focus will be put on the application in practice of the provisions concerning Union citizens’ rights.
