Digital evidence – European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ)

In accordance with the terms of reference of the European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ), a comparative study on the impact of the Internet and new technologies on rules of evidence and modes of proof before the courts (primarily in areas of civil and administrative law proceedings) was undertaken and completed  at the end of 2015. At its following plenary meeting of 16-18 November 2016, the CDCJ approved the publication of this study on the CDCJ website and considered the follow-up to be given to its conclusions.
