A press conference will be organised within the Council of Europe premises in Paris* on 4 October 2018 at 11 am, to mark the publication of the 2018 edition of the Report of the CEPEJ on efficiency and quality of European judicial systems.
The CEPEJ report contains the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data collected in 45 Council of Europe member states, as well as Israel and Morocco, concerning: the budgets of judicial systems, justice professionals, the organisation of judicial systems, as well as the efficiency and quality of the public justice service provided to users.
The President of the Working Group on Evaluation of Judicial Systems, Jean-Paul Jean, will present the report and answer questions.
To any media outlets that are interested, the CEPEJ suggests broadcasting the press conference in real time, by way of live stream. The press conference will also be broadcast live on www.coe.int. A French/English interpretation will be provided.
In order to ensure the smooth running of this Press Conference, the CEPEJ asks those wishing to participate in this event, whether representatives of the media or institutions, to register in advance via the registration form before 2 October 2018.
