SCALE-UP is establishing a computational unit for biomolecular structural modeling and for the development and application of machine learning and deep learning algorithms for the interpretation of transcriptomic and spatial image data.

The unit relies on computational power and storage space based in UNITECH INDACO, to which SCALE-UP is contributing 4 FAT CPU nodes (each with 64 CPUs/768 GB of RAM) and 2 GPU nodes (dual A100). Utilizing container technology, the unit ensures reproducibility of analyses, which can also be managed remotely by various research groups.
