The management of the PhD Programme of Food Systems is sited in the Department of Food, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences (DeFENS) of the University “La Statale” of Milan, and the PhD activities are shared with the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences-Production, Landscape, Agroenergy (DISAA) and Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM).
The location area of most PhD activities overlap with that of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.

How to apply?

Short story of the PhD Programme of Food Systems
This PhD Programme was founded in 2013 upon a national reorganization regarding all italian PhD programmes. In particular, most of the skills, topics and teaching staff components come from previous long-dated PhD programmes that ended the last year on 2015:
